Overview
Bubble is a no-code platform for building complete web applications and, since 2025, native iOS and Android apps. It provides a visual page editor, a hosted database, server-side workflows, user authentication and an API connector, so founders can build marketplaces, SaaS products and customer portals without a developer. AI features generate app pages and workflows from a prompt and help debug logic. A large plugin marketplace adds payments, maps, charts and integrations with Stripe, OpenAI, Airtable, Zapier and Make. It is used by non-technical founders and small product teams that need custom logic beyond what portal builders allow. A pilot is building the core screens of an MVP on the free plan, then upgrading to Starter when a custom domain and live deployment are needed. Caveat: hosting is metered in workload units, and an app with heavy traffic or inefficient workflows can exceed the included units and incur overage charges, so performance tuning matters.
