Claid.ai improves and generates product imagery. Its web app upscales low-resolution photos, removes backgrounds, fixes lighting, adds generated backgrounds and resizes images to marketplace specifications. The API, which is the main focus of the company, lets a store or marketplace process thousands of listing photos automatically, for example enforcing a white background and minimum resolution on seller uploads. Small retailers use the web app for occasional catalog cleanup, while marketplaces and larger stores use the API inside their upload pipeline. Integration is through the API and Zapier rather than native app-store plugins, so a non-technical Shopify owner will mostly use the web interface. Pricing information on third-party sites is partly dated, and the product has shifted toward developer and enterprise use, so confirm current web plan prices before subscribing.
