Grammarly
AI writing assistant for grammar, tone, clarity, and rewrites.
AI rewriting and editing assistant that suggests clearer, shorter, or more formal versions of sentences in email, docs, and the browser.

Overview
Wordtune is a writing assistant from AI21 Labs that rewrites sentences, adjusts tone, shortens or expands text, and summarizes long documents and web pages. It runs as a Chrome extension, a web editor, and add-ins for Gmail, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and Outlook, so it works inside the apps where a small team already writes customer emails, quotes, and listings. Users highlight a sentence, pick from several rewrite options, and keep their own voice rather than generating whole drafts. The Summarizer condenses articles, PDFs, and YouTube transcripts into bullet points. For an online store or service business it fits as a daily editing layer for owner-written content: product descriptions, review replies, and outreach. The free plan allows ten rewrites a day, which is enough to trial but too tight for heavy use. One caveat is that rewrite quality is strongest in English, and the extension can be slow on long documents.
